Dakota Digital Instrument Systems

VHX Analog Instrument Systems: Dakota Digital VHX gauges combine classic analog-style instrumentation with modern electronic accuracy and features. These systems incorporate precision stepper-motor movements, fully illuminated needles, backlit gauge faces, and integrated LCD message centers. Available information includes speed, engine RPM, oil pressure, water temperature, fuel level, voltage, and additional vehicle data depending on the application and installed accessories.

Series III Digital Instrument Systems: Dakota Digital Series III systems feature high-brightness vacuum fluorescent displays and comprehensive digital instrumentation. These systems provide electronic monitoring of vehicle speed, engine RPM, oil pressure, water temperature, voltage, and fuel level, along with additional information and performance functions depending on the selected system.

Many Dakota Digital systems are designed to integrate with original-style instrument bezels while providing modern electronic functionality. Instrument fitment, required bezels, included sensors, and compatibility with factory or aftermarket components vary by product. Certain Chevrolet truck systems are not interchangeable with GMC applications, so confirming the correct model and instrument configuration is important before purchasing.
