Without a core it can be over $600 to get a rebuilt motor and even then you are dealing with over 50 year old technology. Let us replace that original motor completely with a new bolt-in replacement heavy duty 2-speed motor. This unit is much smaller than the original, giving your more room for other upgrades in the engine compartment, and is completely sealed making it impervious to water intrusion.
