Universal Pickup Truck Fuel Tank - UT-N-2

The Tanks, Inc. UT-N-2 universal fuel tank provides a versatile fuel storage solution for custom trucks, street rods, and other vehicles requiring a fabricated fuel tank installation. Its compact rectangular design and universal mounting provisions make it suitable for applications where a vehicle-specific tank is not practical.

The UT-N-2 is a conventional universal fuel tank. It should not be confused with the UT-N-2-T, which incorporates an internal fuel reservoir tray and provisions for a compatible in-tank electric fuel pump. Sending units and certain installation components may need to be purchased separately.

For carbureted applications, fuel pickup size, fuel pump capacity, fuel pressure regulation, and tank venting must be matched to the engine and fuel system design.

For modern EFI applications, Tanks, Inc. offers universal fuel tanks with internal reservoir trays and provisions for compatible in-tank electric fuel pumps. These features can help maintain consistent fuel supply during acceleration, braking, and cornering.

EFI conversions involving LS, LT, Ford Coyote, and other modern engines require proper fuel pump selection, fuel pressure regulation, supply and return plumbing, filtration, venting, and electrical integration. Not all conventional universal fuel tanks are directly compatible with EFI fuel pump modules.
